Rustic Wedding Decor Photos Questions Answered!

  1. Looking for a place for outdoor wedding pictures in Northeast Philly.?

I am getting married in a church in Mayfair and the reception is in Trevose. I need some help picking a place to get my pics done outside and possibly inside if it's raining. BtB 9/20/2008

  2. Naturey/ Rustic Wedding decoration ideas?

We're getting married next May and I'm having a naturey/rustic theme. I already have ideas for the centerpieces, but I need ideas for the decor and maybe favors. The reception is in a reception hall with a hung ceiling witch is ugly :( and I dont want to use toulle! Any ideas are appreciated, thanks :)

  3. ROOM MAKEOVER IdEAS!?

Well, I'm going for a relaxing theme- and I've been watching a lot of Design on a Dime (luv that show!!) on HGTV, and I'm thinking about a nice, Moroccan theme. I've seen a lot of turquoise and purple on the wall color, but I'm going for more of deep, rich, tones, like maybe deep reds, golds, chocolatey browns, and rustic oranges, and maybe inlcude a little bit of the purple and turquoise in accent pieces, like a rug and pillows. Since I'm doing my bedroom, and it's quite small, I'm thinking about a funton for a bed, and some chairs for additional seating, and an armoire (sp?) for my TV and additional storage. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS: I have mirrored closets! So, what's a way for making those closets looks more moroccan, but not too pricy? Thanks so much! Good answers please! ~Danielle~

  4. Outdoor Wedding Venue Near St. Louis...?

I am looking for a reasonably priced outdoor venue to hold my wedding ceremony. We are on a very cheap budget but also have a large guest list. I have looked into St. Louis parks and a lot of them are very pricey and include no amenities, or don't have a large enough space. I have started looking into other places such as golf courses and anything that has an outdoor area that would allow a wedding, but I'm having a hard time finding exactly what I want. If anyone has any ideas on venues, or a website that I could look into it would be greatly appreciated. Anything in Belleville, St. Louis, Collinsville, Edwardsville or places nearby. Thanks!

  5. Funky/Unique Wedding Centerpiece/Decorating Ideas!?

Hello everybody! I need help! I like all the new and funky ideas they are doing with weddings these days, and I guess I just need some help with it! Our wedding is next Spring, but I am trying to get as much done now as possible:) My main problem is decorating the inside of the reception site. We are having an outside/garden/country feel wedding, and I am needing some decorating ideas for the reception. Here is some pics of stuff that I like, but am unsure how to incorporate it all together. I wish I had a picture of a good centerpiece idea, that way I could just copy it! haha. Anyway, here goes... http://www.jamaligarden.com/pID_19859.asp http://www.flickr.com/photos/29786290@N07/2786648405/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/29786290@N07/2786648149/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/29786290@N07/2786647925/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/29786290@N07/2787504812/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/29786290@N07/2786647383/in/photostream/ *Colors are coral, peachy, yellow, and some pink* *Antique Lanterns/Candles* *Flowers* *Rustic decor- galvanized pails, vases, etc... (need more help here too) Oh, and I need an idea for a backdrop for our cake table pictures! I don't like the backdrop that is there now, so any ideas are appreciated! Thanks in advance yall!

  6. Am I going overboard with our theme?

We are doing a country/rustic theme with our outdoor wedding. Anyways, I kinda feel like i'm going overboard with our theme, even though i hoping i'm not. I'm wearing cowboy/girl boots with turqouse designs on them for my something blue. I also have a aqua/chocolate brown garter set with a little cowboy boot charm. our flowers are going to be daisys and sunflowers with wheat thrown in The girls are having country style sundresses with either boots or black flats the guys are wearing cream colored suits with either casual style dress shoes( if there is such a thing) or cowboy boots and possibly a hat for the pictures. the cake is going to be white buttercream with wheat and daisys... The guest book is going to be a huge letter "C" with pale yellow ribbon and daisys as accents. the decor is mainly going to be nice lighting seeing as how its an evening wedding. Am I going overboard or is it just me?

  7. Any ideas on how to cover walls and ceilings of a reception site that has restrictions?

I had to find a reception site in my small home town, close to friends and family that were unwilling to travel. Plus my wedding budget has gone from $7500 to as low/cheap as possible (my fiance and I paying for it ourselves). So thus far, my idea of my dream wedding is out the door. I wanted an outdoor fall wedding in an unusual spot with a rustic yet classy look. Now I have a tradional church wedding at a banquet hall. I am trying to make the most of it with the decor and such. But the only hall in my small town has ugly wood paneling walls (i guess i got the rustic part of my look :P). I liked the idea of lighting (christmas lights and paper lanterns)and tulle but the site does not allow any type of adhesive/nailing in the walls. Does anyone have any ideas? As mentioned before I have tight budget, so I want a cheap pricetag without a cheap look.

  8. What can I do with this location?

I'm wanting to do a country theme for our wedding. We already have an idea, but i'm wanting to know if we can adapt it to the location. This is the location: http://www.flickr.com/photos/65594773@N04/6808556227/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/65594773@N04/6808556189/ ( it also has an old well not in the pics) this is the ideas/decor we have in mind:http://www.flickr.com/photos/65594773@N04/sets/72157629060571507/ Ignore the colors: We are thinking about changing them. Also the wedding is in September in Arkansas
